How does pickleball scoring work?

Pickleball uses a unique three-number scoring system: your score, opponent's score, and server number (1 or 2 in doubles). Only the serving team can score points. Games are typically played to 11 points, must win by 2.

What is the difference between singles and doubles pickleball scoring?

In singles, only two numbers are used (your score and opponent's score). In doubles, three numbers are used with the third number indicating which server is serving (1 or 2).
